ASH MOHAGHEGH

Cities. Technology. Ideas.

I am interested in the spaces where technology, entrepreneurship, and the future of cities meet.

About Me

I'm Ash Mohaghegh, a senior at Babson College concentrating in Technology Entrepreneurship.

My academic interests have gradually moved toward a question that connects technology with the physical world: how can we create cities that are more thoughtful, adaptable, and designed around the people who live in them?

I am currently applying to graduate programs in urban and city planning and design . I want to explore how entrepreneurial thinking and new technologies can contribute to the way cities are planned, experienced, and improved.

What Connects the Dots

Technology

Technology interests me because it can change how systems work and how people interact with the world around them.

Entrepreneurship

My concentration at Babson has taught me to think about problems as opportunities to build, test, improve, and create something useful.

Cities

Cities bring together design, infrastructure, movement, community, business, and technology. That complexity is exactly what draws me to urban planning and design.

Where I'm Headed

My next step is graduate study in urban and city planning and design.

I am especially interested in exploring how technology and entrepreneurial thinking can support better urban environments without losing sight of the people, communities, and everyday experiences that make cities meaningful.

What I'm Learning Right Now

In OIM3690, I am learning how websites move from structure to design: HTML organizes the content, while CSS gives me control over color, spacing, typography, layout, and responsiveness.

I am also learning that working with AI is not just about asking it to generate code. The more useful skill is being able to read what it produces, decide what I want to keep, and make deliberate changes of my own.
